As a dedicated and highly trained mental health professional with over 20 years experience in counselling and delivering training, I am committed to providing best practice for all my clients, individual as well as corporate.


I have been in private practice for over 15 years offering services ranging from counselling to education, training and supervision.  Prior to this I worked in the counselling and family relationships area for over 10 years.

Professional Qualifications:

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare, a Masters in Counselling, a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution

A brief summary of my professional expertise:

  • Registered with the Cancer Counselling Professionals Inc. (accessed via the Cancer Council Helpline) and Carers NSW both of whom offer subsidised counselling.  See Services provided for contact numbers to access these subsidies.
  • Registered with WorkCover NSW and the Motor Accidents Authority of NSW
  • Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, registered with the Federal Attorney General’s Department.
  • Qualified trainer, offering professional development and assisting with organisational change
  • Accredited in the Triple P Program.  See Services provided for further information.
  • Co-ordinator, between 2009-2011, of the Mental Health Professionals Network in the Northern Sydney area.
  • Past and current clients include the Department of Defence, NSW Department of Corrective Services, TAFE NSW, NSW Department of Family and Community Services (formerly the Department of Community Services) and NSW Police.  Other clients include non-government agencies such as Anglicare, Centacare and Relationships Australia amongst others.

 

Professional Registrations

I am a clinical member of the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA NSW) and am registered with the national body for Counsellors – the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).  I am also on the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (ARCAP).

As a clinical supervisor I am a registered member of the Australasian Association of Supervision (AAoS).

I am bound by the Code of Ethics of these organisations
